The Spinnaker Tower
The Spinnaker Tower stands at a height of 170 metres (558 feet)—two and a half times the height of Nelson's Column, making it the tallest accessible structure in the United Kingdom outside of London. Millennium Promenade
Last but by no means least in this Portsmouth guide, the Millennium Promenade offers a walk which begins at Historic Dockyard and is marked by a chain pattern in the pavement. It's easiest to pick up the trail from the east side of Gunwharf Quays and follow through to Southsea, around by Spice Island, the round tower and along the fortified walls built by Henry VIII.
